Yellow turquoise is the trade name given to this yellowish green stone with black matrix belonging to the agate family. Levels of impurities determine the natural color of the bands. Currently, most agates come from Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico, Madagascar, Italy, Egypt and Scotland.
